I first saw the choir by chance when I went to a cultural event in Roma Street Parklands in October 08: there was a theater with lots of organizations performing in succession. I joined the Choir the month after and participated to a few rehersals. I got a wonderful welcome by the members whom I thank so much. And then in December I started performing with my new "teammates". What a wonderful moment when I got that jacket representing 50 years of Choir's activity in Brisbane! I feel very proud to be part of this wonderful choir that so beautifully transmits our italian folklore in Brisbane.
My best wishes go to the guys of the Choir for a wonderful 2009 and many more years of wonderful performances! Thank you Giuseppe Verdi Choral Society!
