“MEDAGLIA D’ORO” PER LA CORALE GIUSEPPE VERDI
Our first "unofficial" performance for 2010 was held in the garden besides the Dante Rooms, in Foster St. Newmarket at the "Dante Alighieri Society"s office.
The theme for the "Dante Alighieri Society"s party was “VERDI” (“GREEN”), not only in honour of the great composer, the great Giuseppe, but to celebrate Brisbane’s own Giuseppe Verdi Choral Society as they presented us with “MEDAGLIA D’ORO” for services rendered not only to us but specially to the Italian culture in Brisbane and South East Queensland.
